Who we are

Hyme (“we”, “us”) provides the Hyme mobile app and the website at hymeapp.com. Contact: support@hymeapp.com.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address or phone number, preferred language, and your role (household owner or staff member).
  • Messages and tasks: text messages, voice recordings, tasks, routines, checklists, and confirmations you create or receive in the app.
  • Translations: the text and audio you send are processed to produce translations and transcriptions.
  • Device and usage data: device type, OS version, push notification token, crash reports, and [analytics].
  • Waitlist: your email address, if you join our waitlist.

How we use it

  • To deliver tasks and messages between household members and staff, translated into each person’s language
  • To send notifications about tasks and messages
  • To maintain, secure, and improve the app
  • To contact you about your account or the launch

Who can see your content

Tasks and chats are visible only to the members of the household they belong to. Private chats are visible only to the people in that chat.

Service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with providers that help us run Hyme, such as [cloud hosting, translation and speech-to-text provider, push notifications, analytics], Resend (email), or when the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing support@hymeapp.com [or from within the app].

Microphone and notifications

Hyme asks for microphone access to record voice messages and for permission to send notifications. You can change these in your device settings at any time.

Children

Hyme is not directed at children under [13/16], and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email for material changes.
